The Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Beijing National Laboratory for Condensed Matter Physics), is one of the most influential institutions focusing mainly on condensed matter physics. It contains multiple disciplines like condensed matter physics, optical physics, atomic and molecular physics, plasma physics, soft matter physics and theoretical physics. The SC7 group in the National Lab for Superconductivity, headed by Prof. Xingjiang Zhou, engages in developing of super-high resolution laser-based photoemission systems and studying prominent issues related with high temperature superconductors, topological materials, magnetic materials, low-dimensional and nano-structure and materials. Because of the further development of the Group, we are seeking to hire a talented engineer.
Technical post (Engineer)
Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and upgrading high-resolution angle-resolved photoemission systems and other related instruments.
Qualifications:
Major in Condensed Matter Physics, or Material Science and Engineering or Electronics Engineering with a PhD degree and over two-years’ postdoctoral experience abroad;
Experience and skills in ultra-high vacuum equipment operation, mechanical design, circuit and electronic equipment and LabVIEW software programming;
Knowledge and experience of angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy, or MBE system or STM system is preferred.
Responsible, teamwork spirit, and willing to assist in training graduate students.
